How Computer Repair Works
Drop Off Your Computer
Walk-in from Tuesday through Saturday. No appointment is required for most repair drop-offs. If you’re having a charging or power problem, bring your charger if you have it so we can test the computer with the correct equipment.
We Assess the Problem
If we can identify the issue at the counter, such as an obvious screen, battery, or hardware problem, we’ll provide a quote on the spot at no charge. If your computer needs more in-depth diagnosis, we’ll keep you informed and contact you with our findings before any repair begins.
Review Your Options
We’ll explain what’s causing the problem, what the repair will cost, and whether repairing the computer makes sense. If an in-shop diagnosis is required and a no-parts fix is not possible, a $50 bench fee applies.
Repair or Replace
If the repair makes sense, we’ll complete the work and let you know when your computer is ready. If the repair isn’t a good investment, we’ll tell you honestly. We may also be able to help you put your device’s trade-in value toward a refurbished computer. Data transfer is available for $60 with the purchase of a refurbished computer, half the standard $120 service.
